Virtual Kawabe 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #20 En'an-ji Temple

 

     En'an-ji Temple is said to have been founded by Kukai (774-835) in Kukuchi Village, Kawabe County, Settsu Province, in 817, when he wrote Attaining Enlightenment in This Very Existence; the Meaning of Sound, Word, Reality; and Meanings of the Word Hum.

Kukuchai Village was first documented in 1191.
