Virtual Kawabe 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #18 Gansho-ji Temple

 

     It is unknown when Gansho-ji Temple was founded in Tsukaguchi Village, Kawabe County, Settsu Province.  Tsukaguchi Village was a temple town of True Pure Land Buddhism while the temple belongs to Pure Land Buddhism.  Pure Land Buddhism derived from the teachings of Honen (1133–1212).  True Pure Land Buddhism is a school of Pure Land Buddhism founded by Shinran (1173-1263).
