Virtual Aduma 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #25 Kakuo-ji Temple

 

     Kakuo-ji Temple was supposed to have been founded in the  Warring States Period.

     The temple thrived in the 1660's, when Tokugawa Ietsuna (1641-1680) stably ruled the country, at the cost of reducing the savings of the Tokugawa Shogunate to no less than one fifth.
