Virtual Kameda Domain 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #28 Zensho-ji Temple

Zensho-ji Temple was founded in 1498 in Kurose Village along Omono River.

Ando Kanosue (?-1423) advanced south from Tosa Port, the base of the Ando Pirates, in 1395, and ruled Akita County.  His son, Narisue, built Minato Fortress.  Zensho-ji Temple could have been founded when his great grandson, Munesue, ruled the surrounding area.  In June, 1491, Munesue either founded or rebuilt Masukawa-Hachiman Shrine.  His son, Nobusue (?-1533), could have been no more than a child yet.

Anyway, Zensho-ji Temple could have been founded under the rule or, at least, the hegemony of the Ando Pirates.  Then, why was the village included in the Kameda Domain?  Was the village ruled by the Akotsu Family, who were affiliated with the Ando Pirates?
