Virtual Hachinohe Castle Town 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #24 Sakaushi-Kannon-do Hall

 

     The Kushibiki Family was a branch of the Shinohe-Nanbu Famiy.  They were based in Kushibiki Fortress.  The Sakaushi Family was a branch of the Kushibiki Family, and were based in Sakaushi Fortress.  They enshrined an image of Thousand-Armed Sahasrabhuja.  The Gods and Buddhas Separation Order was issued by the Meiji Restoration Government in 1868, and the Kannon-do Hall became under the management of Ryoun-ji Temple in 1871.
