Virtual New Mutsu 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #20 Tokuju-in Temple

 

     The Onodera Family in today's Tsukanomatsu used to have a Thousand-Armed Sahasrabhuja image.  They had it enshrined in the precincts of Tenman-sha Shrine, which was invited by Nakamura Nobufusa in 1416.  After the Gods and Buddhas Separation Order in 1868, the image was moved to Tokuju-in Temple, which had been founded in 1479.
