Virtual Saitama City Chichibu 34 Kannon Pilgrimage #15 Kuwabara-do Hall

 

     It is unknown when Kuwabara-do Hall was built to enshrine Arya Avalokitesvara, who is the human-figure prototype of the other 6 metamorphoses.  The hall is used as Nakamaru Public Hall.  The hall has its graveyard.

     As some public facilities take the name Nakamaru, there might have been Nakamaru Hamlet in Nakao Village, and the locals in the hamlet could have built the hall, which never became an official temple, and the graveyard for their convenience.
