Virtual Tama Aqueduct Chichibu 34 Kannon Pilgrimage #31 Ryuko-ji Temple

 

     A dragon who lived in Inogashira Pond swam down the river and took off to heaven with a loud roar of thunder and shining beams.  In the holy place, Ryuko-ji Temple, namely Dragon Beam Temple, was founded in 1172.  After the Meiji Restoration, the temple merged with Nissho-ji Temple, which used to be located in 1-34 Eifuku, Suginami City, Tokyo.
