Virtual Kako County Chichibu 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #8 Kannon-do Hall

 

     It is unknown when the Kannon-do Hall was built in the Sanshiken’ya Hamlet, Kako-Shinmura Village, Kako County, Harima Province. The hamlet itself was likely developed in either the 17th or 18th century.

     When I conducted my virtual tour of the Kako County Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage, I assumed this Kannon-do Hall was its 14th site. However, since it actually belongs to the Kako County Chichibu 33 Kannon Pilgrimage, that cannot be the case. I will need to look for another candidate for the 14th site of the Bando pilgrimage.
