Virtual Kako County Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #13 Kitashinden-Nishi Kannon-do Hall

The exact history and origins of the Kita-Shinden Nishi Kannon-do Hall (the 11th temple of the Kako County Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage) remain unknown.  While it has an official registered address, the small hall is actually located in a corner of a private property, adjacent to a local residence.

When Kako Shinmura (Kako New Village) was developed after 1660, the Kitashinden area was opened up first. Since the local Jizo-do Hall is believed to have been established around that initial period, the Kannon-do Hall is likely not as old, judging from the fact that it sits within a private estate rather than its own independent grounds.

Address: 1102 Kako, Inami, Kako District, Hyogo 675-1105
