Virtual Upper Tada Manor 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #28 Saikyo-ji Temple

Saikyo-ji Temple was founded in 1334 in Yuda Village, Kawabe Couty, Settsu province.  Yuda Village was first documented in 1368.  In 1375, 48 households in the village paid a kind of taxes to Tada-in Temple.  In 1393, Akamatsu Tokinori, who was the 2nd son of Norisuke (1314-1372), who was a younger brother of Yoshinori (1358-1427), and who was an elder brother of Mitsunori (1366-1392), donated about 320 acres land to the temple.  In 1436, Noma Nakayasu donated about 20 acres of land to the temple.  In 1447, Kawase Hidenao donated about 20 ares land to the temple.

As the Akamatsu Family ruled Harima Province and its surrounding areas, Nakayasu and Hidenao could have been subject to the family.
