Virtual North Settsu 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #6 Amida-ji Temple
It is unknown when Amida-ji Temple was founded in Kamo Village, Kawabe County, Settsu Province. The temple was first documented on July 10th, 1300. Its precincts have a stone signpost which shows the route to Nakayama-dera Temple and which dates back to August 18th, 1517.
The area has the Kamo Remains, part of which dates back even to the Old Stone Age, which started about 38 thousand years ago and ended about 10 thousand years ago in Japan.
