Virtual Iruhi Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #26 Kozo-ji Temple
Kozo-ji Temple was founded as a shrine temple of Tsukune-Hachiman Shrine.
Tsukune was developed in the latter half of the 10th century, and people founded a shrine in 991. Then came samurai's days, and the Yoshiyama Family invited the god of Hachiman, who is the divinity of archery and war, in 1187, at the beginning of the Kamakura Shogunate.
