Virtual Iruhi Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #22 Kensho-ji Temple
It is unknown when Kensho-ji Temple was founded. It was the shrine temple of Suwa Shrine, which was moved to the top of Mt. Kobo in 1906. In other words, the shrine used to be around where Kensho-ji Temple is located. In 1905, the Battle of Tsushima was fought between Japanese and Russian Navies, and the Eulsa Unwilling Treaty of 1905, was made. Japan took the path to imperialism. Imperialism even coerced local shrines into M&A.
