Virtual Yashima Domain 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #7 ?

 

     Shoun-ji Temple was founded in Isakosawa in 1611.  The temple was moved to its present place in 1695, with its statue of Arya Avalokitesvara, who is the human-figure prototype of the other 6 metamorphoses, left in Isakosawa.

     Isakosawa has a shrine and a graveyard.  There might have been a hall which enshrined the Arya Avalokitesvara statue near the graveyard.  The hall was taken care of by Yajiemon when the Yashima 33 Kannon was organized.  The hall has gone.  Is Arya Avalokitesvara kept by someone (an offspring of Yajiemon?) privately?
