Virtual Adachi Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage #25 Daihi-an Temple
It is unknown when Daihi-an Hermitage was founded and when it was abolished. Its exact location is also unknown. In 1907, 39 shrines in Koizumi, Nakabun, Idoki, Nakazuma, Okinokami, Benzai, Koshikiya, and Ryoke Villages were merged. The merged shrine was named Yago, namely Eight Merger. The heritage might have had something to do with one of the 39. The hermitage might have been changed into an elementary school after the Meiji Restoration, as often the case in a small village. Actually, Oishi Elementary School is officially said to have been founded, making use of an old temple, whose name wasn't recorded. The temple could have been Daihi-an.
It is unknown where its Eleven-Faced Ekadasamukha has gone.
