Virtual Aduma 33 Kannon Pilgrimage

 

     The Keisei Electric Railway Company, Ltd. is a major private railway in Tokyo and Chiba Prefectures.  Its main line runs between Ueno and Narita.  It organized the Aduma 33 Kannon Pilgrimage in 1935 to promote the tourism along its railway and thus to increase the number of its passengers.  The pilgrimage inherited the tourism side of 33 Kannon pilgrimages which flourished in the Edo Period.
