Virtual Shimousa 33 Kannon Pilgrimage

      It is unknown when and by whom the Shimousa 33 Kannon Pilgrimage was organized.  Its member temples are rather concentrated in the northwestern half of the province.  Did its organizers take into consideration the accessibility from Edo? In the Edo Period, especially around Edo, Kannon Pilgrimages were micro-tourism.
