Virtual Quasi-Chichibu 34 Kannon Pilgrimage #30 Sanpo-ji Temple

 

     It is unknown when Sanpo-ji Temple was founded by whom.  Even its sango is unknowable.  The temple has been abolished, and its deity, the statue of Arya Avalokitesvara, who is the human-figure prototype of other 6 metamorphoses, has been moved to Chosen-ji Temple nearby.
